Imagine that you just created a Report and you used it all the time but it's tedious to re-enter the various Report parameters every time you want to get a result.  Thank heavens Reports can be saved and re-processed from the Reports>>Saved menu item

Most Reports if not all have a facility which enables Reports to be saved and re-run again and again.

In addition, there is a "Ping" page which is a sort of favorite Reports page where a saved Report is assigned to a button.  By so doing, by accessing the Report>>Ping page, you just have to click the button you created in order to re-process the saved Report.
